Deciding what you want to do in the future is a difficult decision that may have a huge impact on your life. Some young people may already have a career idea in mind but not know how to get into it. Others are either undecided, may not have thought about their future at this stage or simply have changed their mind. Whether you have specific career ideas or not, you need to start thinking about the ‘type’ of work you want to do in the future, whether there will be opportunities in that job area and the best route to take: further education, training or employment.
